The Game of Jean and Alice is the must-see Wavre event. This colourful show depicts life in Wavre in 1222.
That year, thanks to a certain Maca, the burghers of Wavre obtained freedoms. This is evidenced by a charter given to them by Lord Jean and Lady Alice.
The Next Edition of the Game in Wavre
This next edition, which will celebrate the 800th anniversary of the handing over of the Charter of Liberties, will be exceptional and resolutely modernised. In 2023, the people of Wavre will rediscover the game of Jean and Alice through the imagination and talent of a show creator who needs no introduction: Luc Petit.
